The June 2 meeting of the Board of Selectmen was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Soter will all members in attendance.
Mr. Soter explained the meeting was called in order to award several public works contracts.
On a Mayhew/Martinis motion, the Board unanimously voted to award the Hazardous Building Materials Abatement contract for the demolition of the Caryville Mill to the low bidder Ramco Survey Stake, Inc. of West Bridgewater in the amount of $444,900.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to award Contract 2016-PGS, Pine Grove Sewer Pump Station to the low bidder Sherborn Consolidated, Inc. of Amesbury in the amount of $233,900.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to award Contract 2016-CCWM, Cross Country Water Main to the low bidder C.J.P. & Sons of Millis in the amount of $355,678.70.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to accept the Street and Easement Deeds for Pine Acres Drive and Brookfield Lane all as authorized by Town Meeting.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to appoint Alan Bogan to the Cemetery Commission.
On a Mayhew/Spencer motion, the meeting was adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
